Day 1: ARRIVE ADDIS ABABA
Arrive Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: ADDIS ABABA – JINKA
Be transferred to the airport and fly to Jinka. After arrival, freshen up yourselves at your hotel and visit the ethnological museum which will give you a brief overview of ethnological information about the various tribal groups who live in the Omo Valley area. Depending on your time, you will have a chance to visit the early evening market of the Ari tribe.

Day 3: JINKA – MURSI - TURMI
Today your expedition stars early in the morning by taking excursion to the Mursi village (approx 66km from Jinka). Mursi is one of the most isolated places in Africa. The Mursi are nomadic pastoralists whose lives center entirely on their large herds of African cattle. They live in southern Ethiopia and move with large tract of land in search of high quality grazing. Mursi women cut their head hairs short often into wonderful patterns. Meet the Mursi people who are best known for the lip plate worn by the women. After lunch you will drive from Jinka (120 km) to Turmi.

DAY 4: TURMI –MURULLE – TURMI
Early in the morning, do an excursion trip to Korocho to visit the Karo. The Karos residing on the bank of Omo River are celebrated for the most fine body painting and body scarification. In the afternoon, you will visit the village of the Hammer people. Hamer is a tribe of shepherds and farmers who live in the arable plains of the Omo Valley. To make themselves more attractive, Hamer women cut each other leaving pattern scars on their shoulders and lower backs. Ritualized whipping is an integral part of the tribe’s culture.

Day 5: TURMI – ARBA MINCH
Drive from Turmi to Arba Minch. En-route, you will visit the Konso Village whose cultural landscape has been added to the official list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

Day 6: ARBA MINCH – ADDIS ABABA
Be transferred to Arba Minch Airport and fly back to Addis Ababa. After arrival, do your last minute shopping and enjoy your complimentary cultural dinner at Ethiopian restaurant where you will have a chance to watch live Ethiopian traditional dances from the different ethnic groups as you eat. Finally, be transferred to the airport to catch your international flight back to home which marks the end of the tour.

Day 01: ARRIVE ADDIS ABABA AND DO A HALF-DAY CITY TOUR
Arrive Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, be met by Paragon Ethiopia Tours’ representative and transfer to your hotel. Starting in the late morning around 10:00 AM, do a half-day sightseeing tour of Addis Ababa which includes the Institute of Ethiopian Studies and the Ethnological Museum, Mount Entoto to see the panoramic view over the city, the Trinity Cathedral Church, historic monuments and statues, and more.

Day 02: ADDIS ABABA – ARBA MINCH
After early breakfast, drive 507 km south of Addis Ababa to get Arba Minch, a popular tourist destination which is used as a starting point for those travelers who take Ethiopia Omo Valley tour packages. En-route, visit the Rock-Hewn Churches of Adadi Mariam which is far closer in style to its counterparts at Lalibela than to any other rock-hewn church in Tigray, the Stone-Age archaeological site of Melka Kunture, the Tiya Stele Field which is a belt of secret-full carved steles and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and finally the Chencha Village to see the Dorze people

Day 03: ARBA MINCH – JINKA
In the morning, take boat on Lake Chamo to explore hippos and giant crocs, parts of Nechsar National Park and the lake’s shores, and then drive further south to the town of Jinka. On your way to Jinka, visit the Ari, Banna and Tsemay peoples in their respective locations.

Day 04: JINKA – TURMI
In the morning, you will have excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi people who are best known for the “lip plate” worn by the women and, after lunch, drive to Turmi, the village of Hamer people.

Day 05: FULL-DAY AROUND TURMI
In the morning, you will have excursion to Omorate to see the Dassanach people (fishermen and hippo and crocodile hunters) and their traditional village. In the afternoon, visit the Turmi traditional market if today is Monday

Drive back to Arba Minch en-route visiting the villages of the Konso people.
