|Day 1: ARRIVAL IN ADDIS ABABA AND DO FULL-DAY CITY TOUR
Arrive Addis Ababa and transfer to your hotel accompanied by Paragon Ethiopia Tours' representative. The balance of the day will be at your leisure or for a full-day Addis Ababa city tour or a half-day Addis Ababa city tour depending on your arrival time and/or interest.
Overnight stay in a 3* hotelDay 2: ADDIS ABABA – AWASH NATIONAL PARK (220 km)
After breakfast, drive south east of Addis Ababa to Awash National Park, one of the nearest best wildlife sightseeing preference to the capital. This national park is home to Oryx, Colobus and grivet monkeys, greater and lesser kudu, sommering’s gazelles and various bird and animal life which you can encounter them during your first game drive in the afternoon. En-route, admire Lake Beseka where one can see different species of birds and the new dormant volcanic ashes at the bottom of Fentalle crater hills. Awash National Park is an important wildlife spot in Ethiopia where tourists enjoy a game drive across the national park to see the above mentioned wild animals.
Overnight stay in a lodge Day 3: AWASH NATIONAL PARK – NAZRET (133 km)
In the morning, drive around 30km north of the park to see the hot springs there. After a brief visit of the hot springs, drive back to Nazret for your overnight stay. After arrival in Nazret, do excursion to the banks of the Awash River to see vervet monkeys, baboons, a wealth of bird life. If you are lucky, you can see crocodiles and hippos.
